To be authentic as a leader is among other things about being conscious about your fundamental values and letting them characterize you in everything you say and do.
It is about being able to connect to yourself and to the ones surrounding you - all the little things that make the difference in the matter of getting people to follow you.
A big part of it is to be fully present and to master to perceive by the senses what is happening around you and to read between the lines, but also to send the right messages in the right way.

Have the courage to dare
Many are driven by the fear of making mistakes - more than the desire to win. Instead, ask yourself: What is the worst that could happen?
As Pathfinder leader you lead gamely - and maybe a bit rashly. You do not limit yourself to what others may think of you and the way you do it of to the way you 'should' do it. You do what you believe is right.
As experienced leaders we have the duty to take the lead and be role models , for example by showing that not everything has to be done in a certain way in the company in order to be accepted. You will not lead the way, if you always follow in others footsteps...
If you want to take the lead and be brave, it is required that you lead with your heart as well as your brain, that you have integrity, that you are true to yourself and your values, and that you understand the meaning of authentic leadership.
